HKG Breaks Ground on New Dacotah Bank

Dacotah Bank in Faulkton broke ground last week for their future new home. Now located on the south side of the Faulkton Post Office, the new bank site will now be on the north side at the corner of 8th Ave and Highway 212.

According to Market President Dwight Hossle the bank had out-grown the present "The new bank will be more user friendly and offer more privacy," said.

Floor space will more than double in size from the existing 2160 square feet to 5,000 square feet. Additionally, a full basement will be used for storage and future growth.

The building will also feature:

* In the main customer area there will be three teller stations instead of the present teller counter.

* There will be cathedral ceilings providing natural light from both the north and south walls.

* Five offices will be available for bank employees to serve customer use.

* A conference room will be available for small groups.

* A staff break room will be located on the main floor.

* There will be a drive through teller window on the north east corner of the building that can also be used for night deposits.

Hossle anticipates that the completion date for the new bank will be early this fall.
